Terms of Use
A plain-language agreement for using ElixirFinance.

1. Agreement to the terms
By creating an account or using ElixirFinance, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you don't agree with them, please don't use the service. ElixirFinance starts with a one-month free trial; after the trial, continued use requires a paid subscription (see section 2).
2. About the service
ElixirFinance is a personal-finance app, offered on a subscription basis after a one-month free trial: it helps you keep accounts, categorise transactions, plan budgets and analyse spending, including on the basis of uploaded Kaspi PDF statements and bank data connected via the Plaid aggregation service. The service is provided “as is”, without any warranties.
3. Not financial advice
ElixirFinance provides information, analytics and tools that help you understand your money better. This is not financial, investment, tax or legal advice. The AI assistant's suggestions are informational and are not recommendations. Before making financial decisions, do your own research or consult a qualified professional.
4. User responsibility
You are solely responsible for your financial decisions and their consequences. You are responsible for keeping your account login credentials safe and for actions taken under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access. You undertake to provide accurate data.
5. Acceptable use
Don't use the service to cause harm: don't attempt to breach its security, don't perform mass data collection (scraping), don't reverse-engineer it and don't use ElixirFinance to break the law. We may suspend or terminate access for accounts that violate these rules.
6. Availability and limitation of liability
We strive to keep the service running reliably, but we can't guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect damages, nor for decisions you make based on information shown in the service.
7. Account deletion and termination of access
You can stop using ElixirFinance and delete your account at any time — directly in settings, in one tap. We may suspend or terminate access in the event of a breach of these Terms or upon discontinuation of the service.
8. Changes to the terms
We may update these Terms as the service evolves and will update the date at the top of the page. By continuing to use ElixirFinance after changes, you agree to the updated Terms.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Disputes not resolved through negotiation are settled in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
